LEN Final Eight 2019

The LEN Champions League is the most important European men’s water polo tournament for club teams.
The first edition took place in the sporting season 1963-64 which marked the success of the Serbian Partizan Beograd.
The Hanover competition will be the 56th edition of the tournament.

Die LEN Champions League ist der wichtigste europäische Klubwettbewerb im Wasserball.
Erstmals wurde er in der Saison 1963/64 ausgetragen, Titelträger wurde damals Partizan Belgrad.
Der 2019 in Hannover ausgetragene Wettbewerb ist die 56. Auflage des Turniers, das zuvor als Final Four und Final Six ausgetragen wurde

You can take tram lines 3, 7 or 17 to station „Stadionbrücke“ and walk to the Stadionbad (1km or 10-15 min).

You can take the bus lines 100 or 200. Please take into account, that they may take deviating routes due to other events taking place around the „Maschsee“.

Anreise mit dem Öffentlichen Nahverkehr

 

Fahren Sie mit den Straßenbahnlinien 3, 7 oder 17 bis zur Station „Stadionbrücke“. Von dort gehen Sie zu Fuß etwa 1 km bzw. 10-15 min.

 

Fahren Sie mit den Buslinien 100 oder 200. Aufgrund weiterer Veranstaltungen rund um den Maschsee können diese jedoch abweichende Routen fahren.

Venue | Stadionbad Hannover

The Stadionbad is the biggest indoor aquatic centre in Hanover city and region. It was built in 1972 as one of the most modern indoos pools in Germany. It has a 50 × 21 m pool.

 

 The repeatedly modernised facility is the region’s venue for swimming, water polo and diving competitions. Major national and international events regularly take place there, including the Water Polo Games from WASPO 98 Hannover in Champions League and Bundesliga.

Das Stadionbad ist das mit Abstand größte Hallenbad der Stadt sowie der Region Hannover und wurde 1972 als eines der modernsten Schwimmbäder Deutschlands erbaut. Es verfügt über ein 50 × 21 m großes Schwimmbecken.

Die wiederholt modernisierte Anlage ist das Bad der Region für Wettkampfveranstaltungen im Schwimmsport sowie Wasserball und Turmspringen. Dort finden regelmäßig Großveranstaltungen auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene statt. Unter anderem trägt dort auch der Wasserball-Bundesligist WASPO 98 Hannover regelmäßig seine Spiele in der Champions League aus.
